11/01/2016 · BTW: in a test course, I uploaded the referenced pdf in the above link and the links DID work. I’ve seen odd behavior like this before (such as links created in MS Word not working and having to go into the full version of Acrobat and re-link them.).
There’s no solution for this in Word, but you may be able to get around this by using something different. If there isn’t a need for the recipients to modify the document you could distribute it as PDF – clicking on links in a PDF passes them directly to the web browser, which will handle the login requirements properly.
Links to websites work correctly, although they too seem to have been converted to word-by-word links. -Both programs I mentioned have features for setting and editing links. Both show that the links are pointing to the correct page, but until the link is edited and re-pointed to that page, the link does not actually go to the correct page on my computer.

word docs and pdfs are not exactly one in the same – not really kinda sorta – but not – but, w e l l anyways… if you currently dont have a pdf reader installed you can get going pretty quickly check out the suggestions here

Hi Kids! If you’re having a problem with hyperlinks not working in Foxit, and you’ve disabled the “Trust Manager” feature already….make sure you’ve selected a default browser for your operating system.
